OnTime consists of two complementary programs: one called the Time Clock where employees clock in and another called the Manager where an administrator runs reports and collects data. OnTime runs on Microsoft Access 2000, so you can link data with other Microsoft programs and run customized reports as well. A copy of Microsoft Access Runtime software is included if you do not already have Access 2000 or later.

The Time Clock is easy to use. Employees type in an employee ID number to clock in. They can also record the project they were working on so you can see how much a particular project or client is costing you in wages. OnTime works seamlessly with barcode and magnetic employee ID readers or a biometric finger print reader if you choose.

You can store OnTime on a network, so employees can clock in on more than one computer. OnTime supports an unlimited number of employees and jobs. Licenses are sold individually, and additional licenses can be purchased at a discount.

OnTime does not track employees’ accrual or use of benefit hours. Nor can it track overtime or differentiate between hourly and salary employees. For a product that does all this and has great reporting features, see Time Clock MTS.
